The administration of City Mayor Oscar Moreno through the City Social Welfare and Development Office led by Mr. Teddy Sabuga-a and Oro Youth Development Council headed by Mr. Ernesto Neri, in cooperation with Kuya Fish Campaign, Bantay Bata Foundation and Kristohanong Katilingban sa Pagpakabana, held an Orientation last September 30, 2015 for the 'Search for the Most Child Friendly Police Stations'.
The OYDC and CSWD aim to recognize the existing 10 police stations for adhering and enforcing child protection laws, based on the following areas:
*Policy Related (compliance with child-related laws)
*Physical Facilities (child friendly)
*Personnel (trainings and manning)
*Services (child appropriate)
*Monitoring Evaluation and Research
*Information and Advocacy (child and community engagement).
The OYDC inspection will be random starting on October 19, 2015.
