A NEW campus of Calaanan National High School will soon rise at its new site in Sitio Calaanan, Brgy Canitoan after members of the Local School Board (LSB) headed by Mayor Oscar Moreno approved the purchase of its lot during the recently concluded LSB meeting.
Ms Elena Borcillo, Schools Division Superintendent, presented the need for a new site to cater to the increasing numbers of students living in relocation sites in Brgy Canitoan.
A total of 441 classrooms in over 2 years was constructed to address classroom shortage and high school annexes in the city that has been left unattended years ago.
Education program is one of the flagships of the Moreno administration.
