ANOTHER batch of beneficiaries from the urban poor sector in Cagayan de Oro City benefited the skills training program offered under the Bottom Up Budgeting of the City Government, in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment.
Some 140 urban poor beneficiaries enrolled in the short term courses like Housekeeping, Plumbing, Beauty Care and Construction Painting.
They have also undergone training on Entrepreneurship, Simplified Bookkeeping, Values and Leadership.
The event was facilitated by the Community Improvement Division and City Poverty Reduction Action Team (CPRAT), led Elmer Wabe, BuB focal person.
