IN his desire to provide decent living condition and security of tenure for the people of Cagayan de Oro, Mayor Oscar Moreno assured the beneficiaries of the Piso-Piso program in Barangay Iponan that through the Task Force Emancipation, which he created, it is meant to empower them and to become the absolute owner of the land they currently occupied.

In line with this at least 200 beneficiaries attended the occupancy seminar and signing of affidavit of undertaking on Sunday Nov. 6, 2016 held at the covered court of Iponan Elem. School initiated by Task Force for Emancipation of Piso-Piso Beneficiaries (TFEPB) chaired by Atty. Edgar Cabanlas.

In a bid to clean the sidewalks from any forms of obstruction, the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) and Task Force Hapsay Dalan (TFHD) conducted this morning its clearing operation against illegally parked vehicles and motorcycles, starting along Tiano Street.

TFHD chairman Atty. Jose Edgardo Uy said the clearing drive would be held regularly so as to make key city roads and sidewalks obstruction-free.

The City Government through Hapsay Buhay program in coordination with the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) conducted a half-day medical mission at Lumbia City Jail.

Hapsay Buhay Program Coordinator Patrick Gabutina said Tabang Medico is a commitment of Mayor Oscar Moreno to provide health services to inmates of Lumbia City Jail.

Services availed of by inmates include dental, eye care, general checkup, free medicines, massage, and beauty care.
