Also present during the opening were former City Councilor Engr. Edna Dahino, Ruben Vegafria of Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce, City Information Officer Ivy Guantero, SM City Cagayan de Oro Mall Manager Bernadette Flores and SM Regional Operations Manager Joey Tumolva.
 
China Bank Area Head Agnes Adviento expressed her gratitude to Mayor Klarex Uy for taking the time to attend the opening and blessing of the uptown branch.

"We're very honored with the presence of Mayor Klarex Uy and former City Councilor Edna Dahino to greet us on this memorable occasion," Adviento said. "I hope many Kagay-anons will come and see not only the beautiful Northwing of SM uptown but also China Bank," she added.
