The City Government of Cagayan de Oro today (0ct. 9) formally signed a Data Sharing Agreement between the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and 21 other local government units across the country under the Local Governance Reform Project (LGRP) for the development of the Real Property Information System (RPIS) and the Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal System with GIS technology at Seda Manila Bay in Paranaque, Metro Manila.
The agreement signifies the commitment of the parties to share real property-related information for the establishment of the RPIS that aims to automate the real property tax administration among LGUs.
City officials City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario P. Raagas, City Assessor Atinodoro A. Asequia, City Treasurer Jasmin T. Maagad and Asst. City Legal Officer Atty. Reymond Q. Villablanca represented the city delegation to the signing ceremony.
