GILUSAD sa City Information Office, Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO) ug City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Department- Persons with Disabilities Section ang pinakaunang photo exhibit sa PWD sector nga ginganlan og “Through the Lens: Stories of Strength and Inclusion,” Hulyo 19, nga gipahigayon sa 2nd floor, Art Gallery Cafè sa SM City CDO Uptown, ning siyudad.

 

Mismo si Acting City Information Officer Jade Adeser uban ni CSWD Social Welfare and Community Development Unit Head Joan Acraman, PDAO Head Maria Liza Corpuz, CSWD PWD Section Head Ma. Cheryl Gacita, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) X PWD Focal Person Trixie Mae Orong, Oro Photographic Society President Raffy Nadayag ug photo contest judges, Aicy Soriano sa City Mayor’s Office ug Shaun Alejandrè Uy sa Philippine Information Agency ang nangulo sa ribbon cuting ceremony.

 

Ang maong exhibit gisalmotan sa mga molupyo sa dakbayan sa Cagayan de Oro.

 

Kini nagpakita sa hulagway sa mga nagkadaiyang storya sa mga Persons with Disabilities sector kalabot sa “strength” ug “inclusion.”

 

Gawas sa photo exhibit, gipasidunggan usab ang mga mananaug sa photo contest diin nagagikan ang mga hulagway ug migulang kampyon si Prince Loyd Besorio nga taga Barangay Gusa, 1st place si Roger Taboclaon Jr. sa Barangay Balulang samtang 2nd place si Willem Quinn Tion sa Barangay Iponan.

 

Nasayrang ang photo exhibit gipaluyohan sa Department of Social Welfare and Development – Region X, SM City CDO Uptown ug Oro Photographic Society.

 

Kini kabahin sa 47th National Disability Rights Week nga gasaulogon matag Hulyo 17-23 alayon sa Presidential Proclamation No. 597, s. 2024 diin ang ang tema sa NDR week ning tuig mao ang "Innovation for Inclusion: Building Inclusive Communities Together."
