UPGRADED CITY COLLEGE LIBRARY NOW OPEN FOR STUDENTS

Written by MDS
THE newly expanded City College Library Services Office is now ready to serve student beneficiaries of City Hall' s free college education program in Cagayan de Oro City.

City College Library Director Melody R. Agcito announced that the renovated facility is officially open and fully operational for student use.

The upgraded library, which opened in January, has since accommodated a growing number of learners seeking a conducive space for study and research.

The improved facility features a well-organized collection of academic resources. The first floor houses course-specific books aligned with the programs offered by the institution, including Business Management, Arts and Sciences, Education, and more.

Journals and magazines are also available on this level, which is designated as a quiet area for individual reading and focused study.

Meanwhile, the second floor is designed to support collaborative learning. It provides space for group discussions, forums, and study sessions, encouraging academic engagement among students.

Outside the library, a dedicated notice board keeps students informed of announcements, updates, and other important information related to library services.

The development of the library reflects the academic vision of Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy, in partnership with City College President Dr. Jestoni Babia.

The Klarex administration is committed to invest in quality education, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and prepare for future professional success. (MDS/CIO/Photos by: Kim Zaldivar/CIO)
