CITY COUNCIL HAILS FOUR KAGAY-ANON PMA GRADS

FOUR Kagay-anons who recently graduated from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) were presented before the 21st City Council during its regular afternoon session on Monday, June 1.
 
In recognition of the honor and pride they brought to Cagayan de Oro City and its residents, the 21st City Council approved Resolution No. 15765-2026 during its regular session on May 25, congratulating and commending the four graduates.
 
The honorees were Second Lieutenants Lawrence Cabahit, Pauline Jhun Amper, Mel Evan Caniedo, and Kent Michael Yaba.
 
The four officers were among the 207 cadets who graduated and were commissioned on May 16, 2026.
 
Their graduation marked the culmination of four years of rigorous military and academic training under the PMA 'Talang Dangal' (Tagapagtanggol ng Lahing Dakila at Marangal) Class of 2026.
 
Second Lieutenants Amper, Cabahit, and Caniedo are set to serve in the Philippine Army, while Yaba will join the Philippine Navy.
 
The City Council initiated the resolution to recognize the achievements of the four young Kagay-anons and to commend them for successfully completing their PMA education and beginning their service to the nation. (MDS/CIO/Photos by: Jomar Figuracion/CIO)
