THE City Council’s Committee on Education convened on Thursday afternoon, July 9, to tackle two items in their agenda.

 

Chaired by Councilor Moreno Daba IV, the committee deliberated on Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-243, titled: ‘An Ordinance Institutionalizing the Executive Leadership Course for Barangay Officials at the City College of Cagayan de Oro.’

 

Also discussed was Resolution No. 14, Series of 2026, of the City College of Cagayan de Oro, titled: ‘Approving the Schedule of Fees for the Programs and Courses Offered by the Office of Lifelong Learning and Professional Development.’

 

Joining Councilor Moreno Daba IV were Councilors Marlo Tabac, Councilor Al Legaspi Sr., and Committee on Education Consultant former Councilor Suzette Daba.

 

Also taking part in the meeting were representatives of the City College of Cagayan de Oro, Office of the Director IV of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office X, City Administrator’s Office, City Legal Office, City Accountant’s Office, Acting City Treasurer’s Office, City Budget Office, City Education and Development Office, and the Committee on Education Consultant attended the committee session.
