CARMEN Art District and creative collective Alampat successfully spearheaded a community urban sketching session among youth creatives of Cagayan de Oro City on Sunday, August 2, along Capistrano–Cruz Taal Street, this city.
The initiative brought together aspiring young creatives and passionate local volunteers for a day with the goal of capturing Cagayan de Oro's unique urban landscape through art.
Participants were guided by some of Mindanao’s most respected artists: Kelly Ramos, Rey Bollozos, Nicolas Aca and Mike Bacol.
The successful community event is part of a broader push to cultivate local artistic talent, operating with the full support of the City Gender and Development (GAD) Office Creative Sector led by its Creative Sector Coordinator Dodu Abrio. (NLB/CIO/photos courtesy of GAD)
