CITY COUNCIL APPROVES P171.76-M SAIP, KEY ORDINANCES

On its first regular session day in August, the 21st City Council presided by Vice Mayor Jocelyn 'Bebot' Rodriguez approved key measures.
 
The following were approved during the Aug. 3 session:
 
1.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-356-Authorizes the use of P160,252.80 in hospital savings to pay the salaries, gratuity, and extra service compensation of two Job Order personnel for services rendered from October to December 2025.
 
2.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-357-Appropriates P146,720.00 for the terminal leave pay of former Private Secretary I Margie Ross L. Bitoy.
 
3.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-358-Authorizes the City Mayor to sign an MOU with the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities to advance climate resilience and a just energy transition in Cagayan de Oro.
 
4.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-359-Authorizes the City Mayor to sign a MOA with the DOH Center for Health Development for the implementation of the Integrated Clinic Information System (iClinicSys) in the city's health facilities.
 
5.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-360-Authorizes the City Mayor to accept the donation of a Toyota Lite Ace mobile day care vehicle from PhilSeven Foundation, Inc. for the CSWD's educational programs.
 
6.Proposed Resolution No. 2026-372-Approves the Supplemental Annual Investment Program (SAIP) No. 4 for Fiscal Year 2026 amounting to P171.76 million for priority programs, projects, and activities.
 
7.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-361-Declares a 500-square-meter city-owned lot in Barangay Cugman as the site of a proposed DOH-funded Super Health Center and authorizes its construction. (MDS/CIO/Photos by: Jomar Figuracion/CIO)
