60 patients with symptoms related to COVID-19 have been brought in to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC)  according to NMMC director, Dr. Jose Chan.

From the latest updates, most of these patients went home after their swab tests conducted by the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine (RITM)resulted to negative.  Six (6) among the patients, however, tested positive, while three (3) patients are currently being treated.

One (1) has been transferred to the barangay isolation unit, one (1) has been transferred to another hospital, while one (1) patient recovered and one (1) patient died.   

11 other patients are still being monitored; seven (7) are still Persons Under Investigation (PUI) and four (4) have severe acute respiratory infections.
