COCPO: 80 people apprehended for violating curfew in CdeO

P/Major Ivan Viñas, spokesperson of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office in a press briefing held at the Mayor's Office on Friday, April 3,  updated that since the implementation of curfew hours in the city, a total of 80 people has already been apprehended.

 

Viñas further said that most of these people are already of legal age. He said, “Taas ang rason sa mga indibidwal na dili essential ang ilang tuyo munang sila gyapun gidala sa kabuhatan sa kapulisan.” (Most of these people were brought to the police station because their reasons for being out is considered non-essential). Viñas assured though that most of the violators were allowed to go back from their respective homes after 5 in the morning.

 

Cagayan de Oro City imposed a city-wide curfew from 10PM to 5AM since March 17 as part of the city’s precautionary measures against COVID-19.
