The City Gender and Development Office met with various City Hall departments on Monday (July 8 ) at the mayor’s conference room to discuss preparations for the first ever Higalaay Music And Arts Festival scheduled on Aug. 23 to 26.

 

The 2024 music festival dubbed SonAmpat: CdeO Boot Camp is geared towards aspiring young musicians and artists of Cagayan de Oro City’s 80 barangays. It’s also open to groups from other towns and cities and schools and the festival is one of the parallel events for this year’s Higalaay Festival.

 

The Gender And Development (GAD) office headed by GAD co-chairperson Sheila Lumbatan was represented by Sol Mosqueda during the meeting. (NLB/CIO)
