National Commission for Culture and the Arts Executive Director Eric B. Zerrudo paid a courtesy visit to Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ A. Uy last Friday, July 19, to discuss the proposed Cagayan de Oro River Cultural Heritage Zone Act.
Director Zerrudo cited the urgency of City Hall’s support to their campaign to declare the Cagayan de Oro River as a cultural heritage site. He said the river is tied to the economic and cultural affairs of the early inhabitants of the city.
