Cagayan de Oro City Hall through the Oro-Trade and Investment Promotion Center (ORO-TIPC) launched on Thursday its Online Rapid Needs Assessment program for the city’s Micro, Small to Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The program is a collaboration between City Hall, the Makati Business Club under its Digital Democracy Program, and USAID-Philippine Cities for Enhanced Governance and Engagement (CHANGED) Project.
ORO-TIPC chief John W. Asuncion said the assessment program will tailor-fit programs that can effectively support the local MSME sector.
In his message, Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy thanked everyone involved in the program saying this underscores his administration’s commitment to bolster support mechanisms for the city’s MSME community in order to enhance their economic resilience and growth.
The Online MSME Rapid Needs Assessment will facilitate targeted interventions that address the specific challenges faced by MSMEs in Cagayan de Oro to ensure their sustainable development as well as pursue inclusive economic progress for all stakeholders involved./GB/CIO
