The third quarter meeting of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMD) held Thursday (Sept. 19) at one of Cagayan de Oro City’s resorts was presided by the newly designated city director of the Department of Interior and Local Governments (DILG).

 

The meeting as presided by City DILG Director Edward G. Bhagwani highlighted the results of the Enhanced Barangay DRRM Plan (eBDRRMP) formulation and assessment using the quality assessment tool issued by the DILG in its Quality Assurance System.

 

Director Bhagwani called for stronger collaboration between the barangays, City Hall and other stakeholders in conducting capacity development training for those serving in the frontlines during calamities. (AGP/Photo by Alexis Gemao/CIO)
