Cagayan de Oro City based young artists and writers are invited anew to showcase their talents on the international stage through the 2025 Young Artists and Authors Showcase (YAAS) of Sister Cities International.

 

Oro-Trade and Investment Promotions Center (Oro-TIPC) said this year’s theme dubbed ‘Friendship: The Heartbeat of Global Peace’ highlights the role of friendship in fostering understanding, collaboration, and harmony across borders.

 

The City-Level YAAS competition will select the top entries in various categories, with winning submissions advancing to the international level. Cash prizes await the winners with the Grand Prize of US $1,000, followed by $500 for second place and $250 for third place.

 

Winning works will be displayed at the Sister Cities International National Office in Washington, DC, and featured on the organization’s website.

 

The deadline for city-level submissions is March 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Participants may submit their entries online via https://bit.ly/Submit2025CityYAAS.
