Cagayan de Oro City Hall under Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy’s leadership officially turned over several marine engines to eight coastal barangays on Friday (Feb. 21).

 

The turnover was spearheaded by the Agricultural Productivity Operations Office-Fisheries Division (APO), led by department manager Paterno L. Gonzalez, Jr..

 

The beneficiary barangays—Bugo, Bulua, Lapasan, Agusan, Macabalan, Cugman, Puntod, and Bayabas—were thankful for the equipment which came from the ₱2 million first-prize award that Cagayan de Oro won in the ‘Malinis at Masaganang Karagatan (Clean and Bountiful Seas)’ program of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).
