The City Museum officially opened at 4 pm Thursday (March 27) the Golden Hour Music and Arts Exhibit to the public.
The event is held in celebration of National Women’s Month this March.
It is also a post-celebration of the National Arts Month last February.
The exhibit features a collection of artistic works by Kagay-anon artists ranging from paintings, photos, sculptures and line art.
It highlights both contemporary and traditional artistic expressions, reflecting the creativity and cultural heritage of the city.
Among the owner of the artworks are the following artists: Adeva Jane Esparrago-Kalidas, Jed Duo, Arkyoo, Melissa Abuga, Michelle Hollanes-Lua, Jericho Valkusto Vamenta, Barbara Jane Azarraga, Sol Azarraga, Marigold Cherie, Fria Masong, John Albert Pimentel, Joel Gemino, Maggie Ruth Candia, Michael Bacol, Kristof Tiongson, Ryan Carreon
Candice Bacas, Inday Omay/Jessa Vine Legaspi,
Nicolas Aca and Winrich Absuelo Barreda.
The exhibit stands as part of City Hall’s commitment to promote the contributions of Cagayan de Oro artists and will run until the end of May 2025. (NLB/CIO/photos by Reynan Baylin/CIO)
