Some 96 local government units (LGUs), including Cagayan de Oro City, in Northern Mindanao passed the DILG's 2024 Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) for its consistent compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy (FDP) and alignment with financial administration standards, as well as compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by the Commission on Audit (COA). A significant increase from the previous year. The GFH, formerly the Seal of Good Housekeeping, is a component of the coveted Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) which is awarded to provincial, city, and municipal governments that have shown remarkable compliance in the accounting and auditing standards, rules, and regulations.
