CAGAYAN de Oro City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy, Vice Mayor Jocelyn Rodriguez and the majority of the administration One Kagay-an slate were proclaimed winners of the May 12 elections at the City Council session hall on Tuesday (May 13).

 

Mayor Klarex was re-elected with a landslide margin of 175,686 votes to defeat four other candidates. Vice Mayor Rodriguez also secured her second term with 243,080 votes.

 

Those who won in Cagayan de Oro's two districts were:

 

First District:

1. Councilor Des Dahino

2. Roger Abaday

3. Jan Antuy Roa Pascual

4. Aga Suan

5. George Christopher Goking

6. Amajing Jing Daba

7. Al Legaspi

8. Imee Moreno.

 

Second District:

1. Yvy Emano

2. Jonjon Rodriguez

3. Doc Paolo Gaane

4. Girlie Balaba

5. Alam Lim

6. Eric Salcedo

7. Gigi Go

8. Edgar Cabanlas.

 

In the congressional races, Barangay Carmen Captain Raineir Joaquin ‘Kikang’ Uy narrowly lost the first district seat to incumbent congressman Lordan Suan garnering 85,099 votes against Suan’s 88,526 votes.
