TWELVE candidates of the much-awaited 60th Miss Cagayan de Oro pageant were presented to the public by pageant organizers at the Event Center of Centrio Ayala Mall on Thursday afternoon (June 12).

 

The 12 candidates representing each of their barangays posed for the audience and answered questions fielded by the local media who will vote for the ‘Darling of the Press’ winner during the coronation night on Aug. 23.

 

They are:

 

1. Ghia Bella Joice Aranas (Barangay Kauswagan)

2. Prexy Joy Albacete (Barangay Carmen)

3. Shane Gwen Agcopra Macalungan (Barangay Camaman-an)

4. Charlaine Shrose Batobato (Barangay Gusa)

5. Melody Lusterio (Barangay Lumbia)

6. Christine Campion (Barangay Bulua)

7. Shades De Lara Caminos (Barangay Macabalan)

8. Gwyneth Jemimah Chan (Barangay Lapasan)

9. Francienne Elle Simon (Barangay FS Catanico)

10. Berjayneth Chee (Barangay Bulua)

11. Francine Mushieda Abueva (Barangay Macasandig)

12. Rianne Mae Mofar Getuaban (Barangay Camaman-an)

 

This year’s Miss CDO pageant marks a milestone as it celebrates its diamond year—which coincides with Cagayan de Oro’s 75th Charter Day, also the city’s Diamond Jubilee.
