Cagayan de Oro City Hall officials were on hand to lend support to the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) Roadshow Series held Wednesday (June 18) at the Limketkai Luxe Hotel.

 

City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas represented Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy in the event joining the city’s business leaders like Cagayan de Oro Hotel and Restaurant Association (COHARA) President Jerome De la Fuente and Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. (Oro Chamber) President Engr. Almarco Brito.

 

The roadshow tackled issues ranging from the Tourism Investment Situationer in northern Mindanao and the grant of incentives under the CREATE MORE Act.

 

Other key discussions were investment prospects in TIEZA-managed economic zones and incentives as well as available loan programs for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the Small Business Corp. (SBCorp).
