PSA-MISOR OFFICE PRESENTS COMMUNITY SYSTEM FINDINGS TO CITY HALL

Written by DYM
THE Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Misamis Oriental office presented on Thursday (Oct. 23) the preliminary results of last year’s Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) to Cagayan de Oro City Hall in one of the city’s hotels.

The PSA-provincial office’s presentation of preliminary results is intended to provide City Hall with updated and comprehensive data to support local planning, poverty alleviation programs and evidence-based policy making.

Under CBMS Act, the CBMS survey is held every three years as mandated by Republic Act No. 11315 or the Community Based Monitoring System Act.

Attendees consisted of representatives of the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), the city statistician, CBMS focal persons and barangay officials of the city.

While disclosing the key findings of the 2024 CBMS, the PSA-provincial office announced that the validated and finalized data will soon be officially turned over to City Hall. (DYM/CIO/Photos by Johnel Neri/CIO)
