AD HOC COMMITTEE STARTS SCREENING OF APPLICANTS TO CITY POLICE

Written by ALR
A THREE-DAY initial screening and interview of 421 applicants for recruitment opened at the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) headquarters on Friday (Oct. 24).

The application process is part of the Philippine National Police Attrition Recruitment Quota of COCPO for this year. The eventual recruits will replace uniformed personnel that either retired, passed away, dropped from the rolls, dismissed or resigned from the service.

Mayor Rolando `Klarex’ Uy created an ad hoc committee for this purpose which he chairs along with City Director Ellaine Josephine B. Depaur of the Department of Interior and Local Governments (DILG).

Rounding up the committee were city police chief Col. Dexter G. Paje, City Prosecutor Atty. Charise Galarrita-Bitoon and Janet C. Floirendo of the CDO Federation of Barangay Women Development Committee.
