ABOUT 1,042 residents of Barangay Bulua benefited from the 'Klarex nga Serbisyo sa Baryo' program headed by Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy that was held on Saturday (Nov. 29) at Bulua Central School.

 

In his message, Mayor Klarex Uy reiterated his commitment to bring the government closer to the people as he brought with him several City Hall departments ready to serve Bulua residents.

 

Among the services provided were free medical check-ups, tooth extractions, haircuts, circumcision, and massage therapy. Residents also had their business permits processed and even applied for job opportunities onsite.

 

The City Agricultural and Productivity Operations Office (CAPOO) also turned over various agricultural support items including grower feeds, fishing gears, and native chickens intended for the city’s animal dispersal program.

 

One of the highlights of the KSB program was the mass wedding or 'Kasalan ng Bayan' in which 79 couples officially tied the knot.
