SEVERAL draft resolutions were presented during the second full meeting of the City Education and Development Advisory Council (CEDAC) held Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Commission on Higher Education-Regional Office 10 Conference Hall.
The meeting presided by the council Chairperson Dr. Arlita Amapola Minguez included committee reports and the presentation of draft resolutions.
Each standing committee highlighted its key points, starting with the Technical Education and Skills Development Committee (TESDC), which also presented its draft resolutions for council approval.
The Basic Education Committee (BEC) likewise reported key points from its previous meeting and presented its draft resolutions for the council’s consideration.
The Committee for Higher Learning also delivered its report, presenting its own set of draft resolutions and sharing its proposed work plan for the next period for council review.
These presentations were made by the three major committees under CEDAC: the Basic Education (K-12) Development Committee, the Technical Education and Skills Development Committee (TESDC), and the Academic and Technical Advisory Committee for Higher Learning, composed of various national government agencies, local government offices, and academic institutions.
It may be recalled that CEDAC held its inaugural meeting last August 12 of this year at a hotel in Cagayan de Oro City, making today’s gathering its second full council meeting. (MDS/CIO/Photos by: Johnel Neri/CIO)
