CAGAYAN de Oro City’s ICT Task Force on Cables and Wires (Klarex nga Serbisyo sa Kable) convened on Tuesday (Dec 9) for its 4th quarter regular meeting, which served as its year-end performance review and recalibration session.

 

The regular meeting, organized by the City Budget Office headed by Atty. Percy Salazar, highlighted the recent recovery of 29.5 kilometers of unused cable wires during a joint cleanup operation conducted by the Cagayan de Oro ICT Task Force and various partners of telecommunications companies.

Regional Director Engr. Teodoro Buenavista Jr. of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC-10) and co-chairperson of the task force, said more initiatives are forthcoming to help the task force clear the city’s remaining ‘spaghetti wires.’

 

Representing Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy, City Administrator Atty. Roy Raagas led the Pledge of Commitment, reminding linemen and task force members of their responsibilities in promoting a safer and more orderly city while supporting the mission and objectives of the task force.
