DOH-10 Regional Director Dr. Adriano Suba-an appealed to the public to support the city and region’s health workers whom he described as ‘brave and compassionate’ frontliners in the government’s campaign to contain COVID-19 and help infected patients make full recovery.

‘We have to protect them (health workers), we have to support them...our office had deployed surveillance teams that are conducting extensive information gathering and contact tracing (on suspected COVID-19 cases)...if there will be people left standing, it is our health workers,’ Suba-an told local media on Friday, March 13, 2020.
