City Councilor Romeo Calizo urged parents to impose discipline to their children and follow the order of the city government to stay at home.

City Councilor Maria Lourdes Gaane appeals to the public to submit to self quarantine especially to those Persons under Monitoring (PUMs) or those who have history of exposure to areas affected by COVID-19.

City Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya together with the 19th City Council expressed full support of the directives of City Mayor Oscar Moreno imposing necessary precautionary measures against COVID-19.

Police Colonel Henry Dampal said the city remains peaceful as of this time and Cagayan de Oro City Police (COCPO) is closely coordinating and cooperating with CDO COVID-19 Task Force. He said check points will be manned and barangay tanods will be tapped for mobilization.
