Prelude of the 26th KUMBIRA 2022 held August 21 at the activity center of Centrio Ayala Mall organized by the Cagayan de Oro Hotel & Restaurant Association (COHARA), with the support of the Department of Tourism Region 10 and the city government of Cagayan de Oro under the leadership of Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy.
“Tubong Mindanaw” is this year’s theme, highlighting local products and the culinary arts and cooking skills of professional and junior chefs from all over Mindanao and the rest of the country.
KUMBIRA is one of the core events of ‘Higalaay Festival 2022’, the one-month fiesta revelry of Cagayan de Oro City. The main event will be held on October 19th & 20th this year. (AGP/photo by Wowel/CIO)
