Italian Consul to the Philippines Antonio Gallo and Vice President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines Lorens Ziller have expressed their keen interest to explore business opportunities in Cagayan de Oro City.

On Thursday morning, October 13, 2022, Gallo and Ziller paid a courtesy visit to City Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy.

 

 

Together with them were Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) Chief Operations Officer Giuseppe Garofalo, IDC Senior Sales Director Gladys Echano, IDC Senior PR Manager and In-House Designer Arch. Giovanni Gusela, and IDC Senior Director for Operations Clara Elizaga.

 

During the visit, the Italian consul also shared their interest in looking into the economic zones in the city as well as their plan to bring more business investments in Cagayan de Oro.

 

Also present at the courtesy call were Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer (LEDIPO) John Asuncion, Cagayan de Oro-Trade and Investment Promotions Center (Oro TIPC) Consultant Eileen San Juan, Oro TIPC Assistant Department Head Raelita Legaspi, City Tourism Officer Chedilyn Aisa Dulguime, City Information Officer Ivy Guantero; and Oxanna Custodio, Hanin Laguindab and Daisy Flores Oga of the Oro TIPC.
