In a press briefing held Friday, April 4, Northern Mindanao Medical Center Director, Dr. Jose Chan shared that over the past two months, 61 patients admitted to the NMMC related to COVID-19 have already been discharged.

Chan elaborated that out of the 61 patients, 6 of these were confirmed positive, while the others were negative from the RITM swab test. As of now, there are 3 more patients on the road to recovery from the virus. These patients, according to Chan, are just waiting for the result of the repeat test, that if negative, will have to be discharged as well. 

The NMMC is the referral hospital for all Persons Under Investigation (PUI) in the region.
