Mitambong ang local government unit sa Cagayan de Oro (LGU-CDO) ubos sa administrasyon ni Mayor Rolando `Klarex’ Uy sa Drug Policy and Law Reform Pre-Summit Dialogue didto sa University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman Quezon City bag-ohay lang.

Ang LGU-CDO usa sa mga dinapit nga mosalmot alang sa maong dialogue uban sa LGUs sa Antipolo, Caloocan, Marikina ug Quezon City.

 

Isip usa sa mga dinapit nga LGUs, ang City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) pinaagi sa City Anti-Drug Abuse Division-Oro Wellness Center (CADAD-Oro Wellness Center) pinangulohan ni Dr. Rhyselle Bernadette Melliza-Descallar mao ang gipadala ni Mayor Klarex isip representante sa syudad.

 

Kauban ni Dr. Descallar si Carmen Arsenal ang Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) Manager sa Barangay Carmen nga usa ka Recovering Drug Responder.

 

Ang Pre-Summit Dialogue mahimong kabahin sa multi-phase approach sa summit nga naglakip sa pagtigom sa nagkadaiyang sector aron magbayloay og mga ideya ug rekomendasyon.

 

Tumong usab sa maong dialogue nga masiguro ang inklusibo nga partisipasyon, paghatag og gibug-aton nga matutukan ang tawhanong katungod ug pagpadali sa makahuloganon nga mga diskusyon sa mga partisipante.

 

Si Dr. Descallar mipasabot nga ang usa ka mahinungdanong kalihokan ang Philippine Drug Policy and Law Reform Summit kay nagtumong kini pag-usab sa nasudnong pamaagi sa drug policy pinaagi sa komprehensibo, ebidensya nga mga dayalogo.
